Swiss Music Awards
From 2014 to 2021 Roger Staub has been acting as the Swiss Music Award's Creative Director.
He developed the look and feel of the show and was responsible for the design of the live performances. Over the past years a variety of national and international stars such as Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, James Bay, Züri West, Hecht and Lo&Leduc performed at this prestigous award show.

In 2016, the Swiss Music Awards light up with bold contrasts. Dua Lipa shines in a neon glow of pink and blue, while Seven and his band bring full power to the stage. Sido’s ‘Astronaut’ takes off in a deep blue, star-filled setting. The night finds its most unforgettable moment when Sophie Hunger delivers a haunting cover of David Bowie’s Heroes.

In 2017, Züri West perform 'Schachtar' against a black-and-white immersive backdrop. Lo & Leduc turn the stage into a grand hotel for 'Mis Huus, Dis Huus', and Mark Forster brings 'Chöre' to life with glowing neon cubes.

Swiss Music Awards 2018
In 2018, the legendary Cypher Rap Battle takes the stage. Hecht light up the night with 'Kawasaki', dressed in silver glitter jackets against a disco-inspired set. Die Toten Hosen deliver an emotional moment with 'Alles passiert', as the stage transforms into a cityscape of rainy glass and glowing lights. Dodo brings 'Hardbrugg' to life—both in sound and in scene.

Swiss Music Awards 2019
In 2019, the Swiss Music Awards move to the impressive KKL Luzern for the first time. Billie Eilish delivers a haunting performance of 'When The Party Is Over' on an all-white stage, accompanied by Finneas on piano. Stress sets the scene ablaze with 'Effacer', bathed in red, orange, and yellow light. Nemo strips it back to pure emotion, performing '5i uf de Uhr' alone at the piano.
